Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.
Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.
Delegating real work to Claude is part of Dr. Alfred Ang's everyday routine, which makes Dr. Ang a natural guide for teams adopting Claude Cowork. Dr. Ang is a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer, and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd in Singapore, the training organisation behind Tertiary Courses. Much of Dr. Ang's recent work is built directly on Claude. Dr. Ang maintains a public collection of Claude Code skills, from a README generator and LinkedIn post writer to a secret scanner and mobile responsiveness tester, and has built Claude-powered courseware and proposal generators that assemble lesson plans, learner guides and course submissions from structured inputs. Two AI-powered content management systems run on Next.js and the Claude Agent SDK, generating content, scheduling blog posts automatically and improving a lead-generation chatbot over time. Other projects use Claude in more specialised roles, such as a tutoring marketplace in which Claude conducts a short verification interview with each tutor, and a digital business card platform with a built-in CRM. Dr. Ang also built the course-registration system behind the Tertiary Courses websites in Singapore, Malaysia and Ghana and a self-hosted AI learning management system with agent automation. All of this is developed end to end, covering front end, back end, databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps, and is shared across more than 300 public repositories on GitHub. The common thread is learning how to brief an AI well, check its work and trust it with progressively larger tasks.
That experience defines the approach of this Claude Cowork Masterclass. Dr. Ang starts by explaining what Cowork is and how agentic AI differs from a chat window: instead of answering one question, Claude works through a delegated task across files and applications. Learners set up Cowork, connect their own files and folders, and learn to brief Claude the way they would brief a capable new colleague, with a clear goal, context, constraints and the format they expect back. They then run, monitor and review Cowork sessions, learning when to step in and how to judge the quality of what comes back. Responsible, secure and private use of work data is covered early, so that learners know what to share, what to keep out and how to stay in control. The first hands-on exercise has every learner delegate a genuine task and inspect the outcome. The second topic moves into automation of everyday work: organising files and folders automatically, drafting documents, reports and presentations, processing and analysing spreadsheet data, and producing research summaries and reports. Learners then chain these into multi-step tasks that run end to end. The capstone exercise turns a messy folder into a tidy, management-ready repository, a challenge Dr. Ang uses because it mirrors the clutter most offices actually face. Teaching is demonstration followed by immediate practice on realistic material, with frequent comparisons of weak and strong briefs. Learners leave able to delegate confidently and review critically.
