Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.
Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.
Agentic coding tools are part of the daily workflow for Dr. Alfred Ang, a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer who serves as Chief Technology Officer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd, the Singapore training organisation behind Tertiary Courses. Dr. Ang has used coding agents to plan, write, run and check much of the code behind a public GitHub portfolio of more than 300 repositories, spanning web platforms, databases, cloud deployment and native iOS and Android apps. Several projects were built specifically to explore what coding agents can do. One is a dependency-free cooking and baking course catalogue with an AI-assisted course adviser, built as a Codex demonstration, and related projects show a private browser-based course assistant and a SQLite-backed course assistant that answers questions from a small local database. Dr. Ang has also published reusable agent skills, including Claude Code skills that start apps automatically, generate README files, push to Docker Hub and scan for leaked secrets, along with a set of skills that produce complete training documents in a consistent house style. Larger systems, such as an AI-powered content management system and a self-hosted learning and training management system, were developed in close partnership with coding agents. This experience gives Dr. Ang practical insight into how agents behave on real projects and how to guide them well. Dr. Ang regularly compares several coding agents on the same task, which gives a balanced view of their strengths and of the review discipline every agent still requires.
Codex Masterclass turns that insight into a structured path through the agentic coding surface in the ChatGPT desktop app. The first topic covers the fundamentals of chat, work and Codex modes, showing learners when to ask questions, when to delegate a task and how to review the plans, file changes and test runs that Codex produces inside a project. The second topic introduces tools and builds a SQLite RAG assistant, where participants direct Codex to create a small database, load content and build an assistant that answers questions grounded in that data, much like the course-assistant demos Dr. Ang has built. The third topic explores skills and hooks, teaching learners to package repeatable instructions as skills and to use hooks that run checks automatically, so the agent follows project conventions and catches mistakes before they spread. Dr. Ang shares habits refined over many agent-built projects: writing clear task briefs, keeping changes small and reviewable, insisting on tests and never letting secrets slip into the codebase. Sessions are live and hands-on, with learners guiding Codex on their own project while Dr. Ang reviews progress and explains why particular prompts succeed. Developers and technical professionals leave able to delegate real coding work to Codex with confidence. Dr. Ang also explains how to recover when an agent takes a wrong turn, using version control, small checkpoints and focused follow-up instructions to get work back on track quickly.
