Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.
Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.
Marketing with generative AI is something Dr. Alfred Ang practises as well as teaches, because many of Dr. Ang's own systems exist to create content and generate leads. Dr. Ang is a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer, and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd in Singapore, the training organisation behind Tertiary Courses. Dr. Ang built two AI-powered content management systems on Next.js and the Claude Agent SDK that generate web content, run a weekly auto-blog scheduler, capture leads and include a lead-generation chatbot that improves itself over time. A social media publishing platform lets a single request post video, photos and text to 22 platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and X, with scheduling, queues and analytics. On the visual side, Dr. Ang created a logo generator that produces options with Gemini or OpenAI image models, a tool that turns any topic into a narrated video with AI-written scripts for TikTok or YouTube, and an automated video pipeline that researches, scripts, renders and publishes educational videos. Email features as well, through n8n automations that sync subscribers to MailerLite and adapt auto-reply workflows for the Malaysia and Ghana sites. Dr. Ang has also built a series of lead-magnet landing pages with interactive scorecards, checklists and WhatsApp capture. Everything is developed end to end, from front end and back end to databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps, and more than 300 public repositories on GitHub show the work in detail.
Those projects give this Generative AI for Digital Marketing course a strongly practical edge. Dr. Ang opens with how generative AI fits into modern marketing and a tour of popular tools, including ChatGPT, Claude and leading image and video generators, before teaching the prompting techniques that turn generic output into on-brand copy, visuals and campaign ideas. The second topic is all about content: learners create social media posts, write advertising and email copy, generate images and short videos, and learn how to keep brand voice consistent when several tools are involved. The third topic moves to strategy, using AI to research audiences and keywords, plan multi-channel campaigns, personalise and scale content for different segments, and design A/B tests that reveal what actually works. The final topic covers analytics and workflow, showing learners how AI can analyse marketing performance, automate repetitive marketing tasks and turn raw figures into reports and insights. Dr. Ang draws on the experience of running automated blogging, social publishing and email systems to show where automation pays off and where a human editor must review before anything goes live. Learners work on their own brand or a sample business throughout, so each exercise produces material they can reuse. By the end, every participant assembles a personal AI marketing playbook covering prompts, tools, workflows and review checks. Responsible use, including accuracy and permission for images and data, is addressed along the way. To explore the marketing automation projects behind the course, visit https://github.com/alfredang
