Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.
Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.
Using Claude well at work is a skill that improves fastest with daily practice, and Claude sits at the centre of Dr. Alfred Ang's working day. Dr. Ang is CTO of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd in Singapore, the training organisation behind Tertiary Courses, and a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer who builds intelligent agents and business solutions end to end, from front end and back end to databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps. Claude features throughout the public portfolio at github.com/alfredang, which holds more than 300 repositories. Claude-powered generators produce structured courseware documents and business proposals from short briefs; two AI-powered content management systems on the Claude Agent SDK draft web copy, schedule blog posts automatically and run self-improving chatbots; a tutor marketplace vets applicants with a ten-minute Claude AI interview; and a digital business card platform with a built-in CRM is built on Claude. Dr. Ang also publishes a set of Claude Code skills that handle routine tasks such as starting apps, generating README files and drafting LinkedIn posts, and uses Claude daily to plan, research and review work on the course-registration platform behind the Tertiary Courses sites in Singapore, Malaysia and Ghana. That daily use has produced firm habits: break large requests into steps, check outputs before trusting them, choose the right model for the job and know when to restart a conversation rather than push on.
This course turns those habits into exam-ready skills across the Claude Certified Associate domains. Prompting and task execution comes first: writing effective prompts for business and technical tasks, decomposing complex requests, iterating to improve quality and adapting strategy for analysis, research, drafting or brainstorming. Output evaluation and validation, the most heavily weighted domain, gets particular attention, as Dr. Ang shows how to check Claude's responses for accuracy and completeness, spot hallucinations, inconsistencies and bias, apply fact-checking and decide when human review is required. Learners then cover product and model selection, comparing Projects, research mode, chat and artifacts, distinguishing Haiku, Sonnet and Opus by cost, speed and quality, and managing context limits by knowing when to restart, summarise or persist. Workflow integration and solution design follows: using Claude to analyse requirements, plan, research and support solution design, integrating it into existing workflows and explaining both its value and its limitations to stakeholders, before the course moves through the remaining exam domain. Dr. Ang teaches with realistic workplace tasks, live comparisons of prompts and outputs and frequent practice questions in the exam's style, discussing the reasoning behind every answer. No coding experience is needed; the course is designed for professionals in any role. Learners leave prepared for the exam and with a practical playbook for using Claude responsibly at work. Dr. Ang also shares ready-to-use prompt templates and a simple checklist for validating outputs, so good habits continue long after the course ends.
