Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.
Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.
Game development rewards fast iteration, and AI coding assistants have made that iteration faster than ever, a shift Dr. Alfred Ang has embraced across many interactive projects. Dr. Ang is CTO of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd in Singapore, the training organisation behind Tertiary Courses, and a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer who builds products end to end, from front end and back end to databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps. The public portfolio at github.com/alfredang, with more than 300 repositories, includes a range of games and interactive apps: Sudoku games for iOS and Android with on-device puzzle generation, hints and scoring; a word-search puzzle game; a neon logic puzzle; a spinning-wheel app with sound and celebration effects; and a kids' learning app on Google Play whose escape room is built with the LibGDX game framework. Dr. Ang has also built GPU-rendered fractal generators using Metal and OpenGL ES, a browser-based WebXR playground that generates AR and VR scenes from prompts, and an iPad sketching app with sketch-to-AR. Unity and C# are not a large part of the public portfolio, so the link to this course lies in the shared craft: game loops, input handling, physics feel, state, saving progress and shipping to mobile stores. Dr. Ang has published many native apps to the App Store and Google Play, and most recent builds were vibe coded with AI assistants and then carefully reviewed, which is exactly the workflow this course applies inside Unity.
This course applies that workflow to a complete Unity project. Learners are introduced to Unity, C# and vibe coding, set up Unity with AI coding assistants such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot and Claude, navigate the editor with AI guidance and learn prompting patterns for Unity and C#. Building scenes comes next: creating scenes, GameObjects and prefabs, working with components and the Inspector, generating level and environment setups with AI and keeping assets and project structure organised. Gameplay scripting follows, with MonoBehaviour scripts, player input, movement and controls, game state and events, and AI used to debug and explain C# along the way. Learners then add colliders, rigidbodies and physics interactions, animate characters and objects, build menus, a HUD and UI, and add audio and visual effects. Game systems include scoring, health and inventory, enemies and spawning, simple game AI, saving and loading, and reviewing and refactoring the generated code. Finally, learners optimise performance and build for desktop, WebGL and mobile before packaging and publishing. Drawing on experience with puzzle games and store releases, Dr. Ang stresses small, testable steps: describe one mechanic, generate it, play-test it, then refine. Sessions are hands-on, with each learner growing a playable game across the course and solving the real bugs that appear. Learners leave with a published-ready build and a repeatable method for the next game. Dr. Ang also shows how to ask the AI to explain Unity's component model and physics settings, so learners understand the engine rather than merely copying code.
