Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.
Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.
Concept artists now sketch alongside image models as often as they sketch with pencils, and Dr. Alfred Ang approaches this course from the builder's side of that shift. As CTO of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd in Singapore, the training organisation behind Tertiary Courses, Dr. Ang is a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer who designs and ships complete products: front end, back end, databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps. Several of those products sit right where art meets AI. One is a logo maker that turns a written description into three design options generated with Gemini or OpenAI image models, which means constant practice in writing prompts that steer style, colour and composition. Another is a native iPhone and iPad sketching studio, with an Android twin, offering a Procreate-style brush library, layers, symmetry, filters, multi-page sketchbooks and a sketch-to-AR feature that lifts drawings into augmented reality. Dr. Ang has also built a browser-based WebXR playground that generates AR and VR scenes from plain-language prompts, a GPU-accelerated fractal art generator that grows Mandelbrot and Julia imagery from a seed and recolours it with curated palettes, and video and digital-human pipelines that combine AI-written scripts, cloned voices, avatars and animated scenes. Across more than 300 public repositories, the common thread is moving a creative idea from rough description to polished, usable output, and knowing exactly where a generative model helps and where human judgement has to take over.
That experience shapes a course built around making rather than watching. Learners begin with an introduction to generative AI for art and a tour of the popular image tools, Midjourney, Stable Diffusion and Adobe Firefly, comparing how each one responds to the same creative brief. Dr. Ang then concentrates on writing effective prompts for concept art: describing subject, mood, lighting, camera angle and art style precisely enough to generate characters, environments and props that clearly belong to the same world. The second half moves from first drafts to finished pieces. Learners develop consistent styles and compositions, iterate on promising images instead of starting over, and use AI editing and enhancement to extend backgrounds, adjust colour, fix awkward details and sharpen the final result. Because Dr. Ang has wrestled with the same problems while building image-generation tools, the sessions are candid about what the models still get wrong and how an artist's eye corrects it. Expect short demonstrations followed by hands-on exercises, side-by-side prompt comparisons and regular critique of the work on screen. By the end of the course, each learner assembles a small concept art portfolio of characters, environments and props, together with a reusable prompt library that can be carried into games, film, illustration or marketing projects, and a clear sense of AI as a partner in ideation rather than a replacement for drawing skill. Questions about style consistency, image rights and responsible use of generated artwork are discussed openly as they arise.
