What's This Course About

Bring your business communications to life with our hands-on Voice and Video Agents with n8n course. AI agents can now speak to your customers on the phone and appear on screen as lifelike video avatars—answering enquiries, taking bookings, delivering training and presenting your products around the clock. In this practical 1-day course, you will learn how to build both voice agents and video agents using n8n, the popular no-code workflow automation platform—no programming background required.

Through guided exercises, participants will build AI voice agents that listen, think and talk—wiring up speech-to-text, large language models and text-to-speech in n8n workflows and connecting them to phone and chat channels. You will then create AI video agents that generate talking-head avatar videos automatically and publish them to your audience. By the end of the course, you will be able to deploy voice and video agents that handle customer conversations and content production for your organisation.

Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.

Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.

Talking avatars, cloned voices and automated workflows all feature in Dr. Alfred Ang's public body of work. Dr. Ang is a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer, and is CTO of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd, the Singapore training organisation behind Tertiary Courses, designing intelligent agents and business systems end-to-end across front end, back end, databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps. More than 300 public repositories on GitHub capture that range. Dr. Ang built a lip-sync project that turns a portrait and a script into a talking avatar, offering an instant in-browser preview alongside MuseTalk for photoreal rendering, and a done-for-you digital-human service that creates a branded, voice-enabled avatar, clones a voice, trains it on an organisation's content through retrieval-augmented generation and embeds it on any website. A video creation tool generates narrated videos from a topic with AI scripts and voiceover. On the automation side, Dr. Ang has built many n8n projects, including a Telegram AI agent that answers questions from uploaded PDFs, an HR portal with human-in-the-loop approvals and a guarded chatbot, and an email automation for the Malaysia and Ghana sites. Native apps that accept spoken tasks or give voice coaching show the same interest in natural, conversational interfaces. Building these projects has shown Dr. Ang how much the experience depends on details such as natural voice pacing, accurate lip movement and fast response times, and how carefully avatars must be grounded in approved content before they speak on behalf of an organisation.

Voice and Video Agents with n8n combines these two strands so that learners can design, automate and deploy AI video and voice agents for education, customer service and professional presentations. Dr. Ang begins with an introduction to AI video and voice agents for business, explaining how avatars, synthetic voices, speech recognition and language models fit together, and where each is genuinely useful. The second topic focuses on automating video and voice AI agents with n8n: building workflows that take a script or a request, generate the voice and avatar video, and deliver the result to the right channel without manual steps. The third topic adds interactivity, connecting agents to knowledge sources and conversation logic so that a video or voice agent can answer questions, guide a learner or handle a customer enquiry in real time. Drawing on the digital-human and lip-sync projects, Dr. Ang discusses practical choices such as rendering quality versus speed, keeping answers grounded in approved content, and handling consent and disclosure when voices and likenesses are involved. The course is hands-on, with participants building working workflows in n8n and testing their own agents during class, supported by step-by-step demonstrations and troubleshooting. Participants also explore deployment options, such as embedding an avatar on a website, connecting a voice agent to messaging channels and logging conversations for review, together with ways to measure whether an agent is genuinely improving learner engagement or customer service rather than simply adding novelty. Learners can explore Dr. Ang's avatar and automation projects at https://github.com/alfredang.
