Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.
Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.
Finance teams that want AI agents to reconcile, forecast and explain the numbers will be learning from a builder rather than a commentator. Dr. Alfred Ang is a full-stack AI developer and Agentic AI solution architect, a corporate trainer, and the CTO of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd in Singapore, the training organisation behind Tertiary Courses. Dr. Ang designs intelligent agents and business systems end-to-end, from front end and back end to databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps, and keeps the work in the open across more than 300 public repositories on GitHub. Several of those projects sit squarely in finance territory. One combines a stock-analysis dashboard, with live market charts, and an n8n-powered Telegram AI agent that returns buy, sell or hold recommendations together with its reasoning, so every call can be questioned. Another is an ERP prototype in which purchase orders pass through human-in-the-loop approvals by email and Telegram, supplier invoices are three-way matched, and AI agents watch stock levels and trigger replenishment. Dr. Ang has also built an inventory forecasting agent that runs on a local language model through Ollama and reports into Google Sheets and Gmail, an HR and accounting platform with payroll and leave accrual, and an investment-advisor website with an n8n FAQ chatbot. Underneath the day job sit the AI-powered learning and training management system Dr. Ang built for the academy, which includes QuickBooks finance workflows, and the course-registration platform that serves the Tertiary Courses sites in Singapore, Malaysia and Ghana.
That mix of trading signals, approvals and accounting data shapes how this course is taught. Learners begin by surveying popular AI agent tools and platforms, writing prompts that suit financial work, and connecting agents safely to financial data. The focus then moves to automation: reporting and reconciliation workflows, forecasting and planning agents, and document and invoice processing, with human-in-the-loop controls designed in from the start rather than bolted on afterwards, exactly as they are in Dr. Ang's own ERP approval chains. The analysis topic covers financial analysis with AI, risk and scenario analysis, turning outputs into insights and recommendations, and visualising financial data so that managers can act on it. The final topic deals with what makes finance different from other domains: securing data and access, keeping every agent decision compliant and auditable, monitoring and improving agents over time, and deploying and scaling them across a finance function. Dr. Ang teaches through live demonstrations and guided builds, explaining why an agent reached a figure as carefully as how to make it reach one, and is candid about where automation should stop and a qualified person should sign off. Learners leave with working workflows they can adapt to their own month-end, budgeting or accounts-payable processes, together with a clear sense of the guardrails that reviewers and auditors will expect to see.
