AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals Training prepares you for the Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals certification, which validates foundational knowledge of cloud concepts and core Microsoft Azure services. Whether you work in a technical or business role, understanding cloud computing and how Azure delivers it is increasingly essential. The course is designed for beginners, business and sales professionals, IT staff, students and anyone starting a cloud career, with no prior Azure experience required.

You will start by getting started with Azure cloud computing, exploring cloud concepts such as the shared responsibility model, public, private and hybrid clouds, consumption-based pricing, and the benefits of high availability, scalability, reliability and security. You will learn the differences between infrastructure as a service, platform as a service and software as a service. Next you will cover the implementation of Azure compute and networking, including regions, availability zones, resource groups, virtual machines, containers, Azure Functions, virtual networks and storage services.

The final topic covers monitoring and managing Azure cloud solutions, including identity and access with Microsoft Entra ID, governance and compliance tools such as Azure Policy and resource locks, cost management and pricing calculators, and monitoring with Azure Advisor, Service Health and Azure Monitor. Each topic combines demonstrations in the Azure portal with exam-style practice questions. By the end, you will understand Azure fundamentals and be well prepared to pass the AZ-900 exam.

You will need the following for this course:

Install and test the listed software before class. Confirm the required version and account or licence access in your joining instructions. Cloud and AI services may charge subscription or usage fees.

Bring a Windows or Mac laptop supported by the listed software, with a working keyboard and sufficient storage for course exercises.

Bring your own computer and charger, with a reliable internet connection and permission to install the required software. For live online classes, also prepare a microphone or headset.
