Dr. Muhammed Siraj is a cybersecurity specialist and academic with 15 years of experience, serving as Senior Lecturer in the Department of Informatics and Director of Graduate and Continuous Education at Academic City University in Accra. He holds a PhD in Security in Computing from Universiti Putra Malaysia, where his research focused on blockchain security, an MSc in Information and Communication Technology from Aalborg University in Denmark, and a degree from the University of Ghana. He is a licensed independent assessor with Ghana's Cyber Security Authority, holds leadership roles in national cybersecurity and privacy professional bodies, and is certified as a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Computer Hacking Forensic Investigator (CHFI) and Certified Data Protection Supervisor (CDPS). Before joining Academic City, he served as Acting Director of ICT and Data Protection Supervisor at Wisconsin International University College. His expertise spans penetration testing, digital forensics, incident response, malware analysis, cryptography, cloud and IoT security, zero trust architecture, cyber threat intelligence, data protection, and governance, risk and compliance.
Dr. Siraj's research interests cover blockchain, cybersecurity, distributed computing, consensus protocols and machine learning, with published work on blockchain consensus security, smart-contract privacy preservation for sensitive records in the cloud, and new consensus mechanisms. This background gives him a distinctive perspective on artificial intelligence: as organisations adopt AI tools, agents and data-driven automation, he helps learners understand how to protect the data these systems depend on, recognise new attack surfaces, and put sound governance, privacy and access controls in place so that AI can be used safely and responsibly. In the classroom he connects technical practice with regulation, privacy and human factors, drawing on real-world security and data-protection cases to show how concepts apply in professional settings, and his experiential, hands-on teaching style has made him a trusted trainer for students and working professionals alike.
Few trainers approach everyday office AI from the position of someone who builds AI systems for a living, and that is the perspective Dr. Alfred Ang brings to this masterclass. Dr. Ang is a full-stack AI developer, Agentic AI solution architect and corporate trainer, and serves as Chief Technology Officer of Tertiary Infotech Academy Pte Ltd in Singapore, the training organisation behind Tertiary Courses. Much of Dr. Ang's development work targets exactly the routine knowledge work that Copilot now accelerates. Dr. Ang built the course-registration and learning management platform that runs the Tertiary Courses websites in Singapore, Malaysia and Ghana, as well as an in-house HR and accounting platform covering leave, attendance, expense claims and payroll, with companion native apps on iPhone and Android that let managers approve requests on the move. Other projects tackle documents and communication directly: an AI-powered content management system that drafts web content and schedules blog posts automatically, an offline HR tool that compares a CV against a job description and produces a printable interview guide, and a browser automation utility that searches Microsoft Learn course catalogues. Across all of these, Dr. Ang works end to end, from front end and back end to databases, cloud deployment and native mobile apps, which gives a grounded sense of where AI assistance genuinely saves time and where human judgement must stay in charge. The full body of work is public on GitHub, with more than 300 repositories spanning AI agents, business systems, automation workflows and mobile apps.
That builder's mindset shapes how this Microsoft 365 Copilot Masterclass is taught. Rather than touring menus, Dr. Ang treats Copilot as a capable colleague that needs clear instructions, so the course opens with how Copilot works and how to write prompts that supply the context, role and format it needs to produce useful results. Learners then put Copilot Chat to work researching and summarising information, before moving into Word to draft, rewrite and condense documents, and into PowerPoint to generate a presentation and refine it slide by slide. The second half follows a typical working day across the apps: analysing data and generating formulas in Excel, drafting emails and summarising long threads in Outlook, and turning Teams meetings into recaps with clear action items. Dr. Ang then shows how to chain these steps into end-to-end workflows, so that a meeting summary becomes a follow-up email, a short report and a slide deck without starting from scratch each time. Throughout, learners practise on realistic business tasks, compare first drafts against improved prompts and check every output for accuracy before relying on it. Responsible use is woven in rather than bolted on, drawing on Dr. Ang's experience of building systems that hold staff and learner records: what data Copilot can see, how privacy and permissions apply, and which habits keep sensitive information safe. Learners leave with a personal toolkit of prompts and workflows ready for Monday morning.
