CompTIA Certified SecurityX Training prepares experienced security professionals for CompTIA SecurityX (exam CAS-005), the expert-level certification formerly known as CASP+. SecurityX validates the advanced skills needed to architect, engineer and integrate secure solutions across complex enterprise environments, and to lead governance, risk and compliance efforts. The course is designed for senior security engineers, security architects, technical leads and cyber security practitioners with several years of hands-on experience.

The course follows the official exam domains. You will start with governance, risk and compliance, covering security programme governance, risk management frameworks, legal and regulatory requirements, and AI-related security considerations. Next you will study security architecture, including resilient and secure enterprise designs, zero trust, cloud and hybrid architectures and data security. You will then cover security engineering, such as identity and access management, endpoint and server hardening, cryptography, PKI and securing specialised and legacy systems.

The final domain covers security operations, including threat hunting, monitoring and response, vulnerability management, incident handling and digital forensics. Throughout the course you will work through complex scenarios and performance-based question practice that reflect the advanced nature of the exam. By the end, you will be able to design and integrate enterprise-grade security solutions with confidence and be well prepared to pass the CompTIA SecurityX certification exam.
