Ghana Advances Its National Cybersecurity Strategy
On 16 April 2026, Ghana's Cyber Security Authority (CSA), in collaboration with Italy's Cyber 4.0, hosted a high-level workshop in Accra to advance the implementation of Ghana's National Cybersecurity Policy and Strategy (NCPS).
What was on the table
The workshop focused on three pillars — raising awareness of the policy, enhancing operational capabilities, and deepening international cooperation. It drew the Minister for Communication, Digital Technology and Innovation, Samuel Nartey George; Italy's Ambassador Laura Ranalli; CSA Director-General Divine Selease Agbeti; and members of Ghana's Joint Cybersecurity Committee. Stakeholder input is being compiled into an actionable report to guide ongoing Ghana–Italy cyber collaboration.
What it means for you
National strategies translate into real hiring demand. As Ghana operationalises its cybersecurity policy, banks, telcos, government agencies and critical-infrastructure operators need people who can defend systems, investigate incidents and manage risk. Cybersecurity and digital forensics are among the most future-proof careers in the country.
